Joining a cash game is simple once you have done it once or twice, and most of our regular players follow pretty much the same pattern. When you arrive at our property on Route 138 in Kahnawake, you head straight to the poker desk. There, our floor staff will confirm which game and stake you want and how far up the list you are. One thing we always suggest: as soon as you sit down, hand the dealer your Playground rewards card right away rather than waiting a few orbits. Your points start to track from the moment you are officially in the game, and it is easy to forget this part once the cards are flying.

Satellite tournaments connect directly into higher buy-in events, so players with smaller or medium bankrolls still have a realistic path to sit down in the bigger fields without paying the full entry upfront.

Our festival events draw a mix of local players, Canadians from other provinces, and international visitors. We typically run multiple starting flights, allow re-entry within the stated limits, and schedule side events at the same time so there is always something to play. Detailed blind structures, prize payout formats, and level lengths are all listed on the tournament calendar page, so you know the pace of play and prize spread before you commit to a seat.

If you are targeting a specific tournament, we strongly suggest showing up at least 30 minutes before the advertised start time. Tournament registration can take a little longer when there is a line, and scrambling for a seat card while the first level is already going is not a great way to start a day.

Bad Beat Jackpot

Our bad beat jackpot adds an extra layer to cash game play that many players end up valuing more than they thought they would. The jackpot is triggered when a very strong hand that meets the posted criteria loses to an even stronger hand in an eligible cash game pot. When that happens, the payout does not only go to the winner and the unlucky loser. Everyone seated at that table receives a portion of the jackpot.

Because of that shared payout, the dynamic at the tables shifts slightly. Even when you have folded preflop, you still have a stake when two monster hands collide. Our floor staff apply the rules and confirm eligibility, and only active cash game hands that meet the published conditions can trigger a payout.

Beyond the Poker Floor

We are not limited to poker tables. On the rest of our gaming floor, more than 1,200 electronic gaming machines are running across the property, which firmly places Playground in full-casino territory rather than as a standalone card room. On top of that, three on-site restaurants operate under the same roof, so you can eat between levels or during a cash game session without leaving the building at all.
