How Registration Actually Works Here
Playground Poker Club & Casino is a physical venue in Kahnawà:ke, not an online casino. That single fact changes the whole create account process. There is no sign-up form on a website, no email link to click, no password to come up with and remember. Your player profile is opened face to face, at the Brush Desk inside our Poker Hall, the first time you walk into the property just south of Montreal.
That is really the core of it. You show up, you bring valid ID, you speak with our staff.
The Brush Desk is where we handle player registrations, manage all waitlists, and look up profiles. It is the main hub for anything tied to a player at our venue. Our team collects your details, enters them into the system, and assigns a unique Player ID. From that point on, this number is your reference across all services at Playground. The registration itself usually takes only a few minutes.
Minimum age is 18. A government-issued photo ID is mandatory - we do not make exceptions here.
What to Do When You Arrive
Your first visit to Playground usually flows in a simple way:
- Enter the main complex at our Kahnawà:ke location and head toward the Poker Hall.
- Go to the Brush Desk, where our staff takes care of all new player registrations.
- Present your government-issued photo ID so we can confirm you are at least 18.
- A staff member sets up your profile in the system and assigns your personal Player ID.
- You review and confirm your contact details so remote waitlist features work properly on later visits.
- Ask the team what promotions are currently running - the Bad Beat Jackpot starts at $100,000, so it is worth checking.
- Once your profile is live, you can sit in on cash games, sign up for tournaments, and use the gaming machines around the floor.
- Keep your Player ID close. You will use it whenever you deal with the Brush Desk or when you join a waitlist remotely.
You do not need to prepare any paperwork before coming. There is no online account to open ahead of time. Just arrive with valid ID, talk to us at the desk, and your registration is handled on the spot.
Your Player ID and What It Unlocks
After we register you, your Player ID does more than tell us who you are at a table. It directly connects you to several practical tools. One of the most useful is remote access to poker cash-game waitlists. You can put your name on a list up to one hour before you show up at Playground. It is especially handy if you are driving down from Montreal and want a seat lined up when you walk in.
There are two ways to use the remote waitlist. One option is the Poker Atlas app, a third-party poker room management platform we are integrated with. You search for Playground in the app, choose your game, and add your name to the list. The second way is by text: you send your Player ID, your name, and the game limits you want to 514-616-5176. Both options work within that 60-minute window before you arrive.
| Method | How to Use | Lead Time |
|---|---|---|
| Poker Atlas App | Search Playground in the app, add name to list | Up to 1 hour before arrival |
| Text Message | Send Player ID, name, limits to 514-616-5176 | Up to 1 hour before arrival |
| Brush Desk In-Person | Visit the Poker Hall desk directly | On arrival |
If you are planning to text the waitlist, it really helps to know the game format and stakes you want to play in advance. Vague messages slow everything down for you and for our staff, and it is easier on everyone when the request is clear.
Your Player ID also ties you into promotions and player-specific offers running across the property. Our team can pull up your profile at any time to confirm if you qualify for jackpots, tournament entries, or any other feature connected to your account details.
