Playground Poker Club & Casino Create Account

How Registration Actually Works Here

Playground Poker Club & Casino is a physical venue in Kahnawà:ke, not an online casino. That single fact changes the whole create account process. There is no sign-up form on a website, no email link to click, no password to come up with and remember. Your player profile is opened face to face, at the Brush Desk inside our Poker Hall, the first time you walk into the property just south of Montreal.

That is really the core of it. You show up, you bring valid ID, you speak with our staff.

The Brush Desk is where we handle player registrations, manage all waitlists, and look up profiles. It is the main hub for anything tied to a player at our venue. Our team collects your details, enters them into the system, and assigns a unique Player ID. From that point on, this number is your reference across all services at Playground. The registration itself usually takes only a few minutes.

Minimum age is 18. A government-issued photo ID is mandatory - we do not make exceptions here.

What to Do When You Arrive

Your first visit to Playground usually flows in a simple way:

  1. Enter the main complex at our Kahnawà:ke location and head toward the Poker Hall.
  2. Go to the Brush Desk, where our staff takes care of all new player registrations.
  3. Present your government-issued photo ID so we can confirm you are at least 18.
  4. A staff member sets up your profile in the system and assigns your personal Player ID.
  5. You review and confirm your contact details so remote waitlist features work properly on later visits.
  6. Ask the team what promotions are currently running - the Bad Beat Jackpot starts at $100,000, so it is worth checking.
  7. Once your profile is live, you can sit in on cash games, sign up for tournaments, and use the gaming machines around the floor.
  8. Keep your Player ID close. You will use it whenever you deal with the Brush Desk or when you join a waitlist remotely.

You do not need to prepare any paperwork before coming. There is no online account to open ahead of time. Just arrive with valid ID, talk to us at the desk, and your registration is handled on the spot.

Your Player ID and What It Unlocks

After we register you, your Player ID does more than tell us who you are at a table. It directly connects you to several practical tools. One of the most useful is remote access to poker cash-game waitlists. You can put your name on a list up to one hour before you show up at Playground. It is especially handy if you are driving down from Montreal and want a seat lined up when you walk in.

There are two ways to use the remote waitlist. One option is the Poker Atlas app, a third-party poker room management platform we are integrated with. You search for Playground in the app, choose your game, and add your name to the list. The second way is by text: you send your Player ID, your name, and the game limits you want to 514-616-5176. Both options work within that 60-minute window before you arrive.

MethodHow to UseLead Time
Poker Atlas AppSearch Playground in the app, add name to listUp to 1 hour before arrival
Text MessageSend Player ID, name, limits to 514-616-5176Up to 1 hour before arrival

If you are planning to text the waitlist, it really helps to know the game format and stakes you want to play in advance. Vague messages slow everything down for you and for our staff, and it is easier on everyone when the request is clear.

Your Player ID also ties you into promotions and player-specific offers running across the property. Our team can pull up your profile at any time to confirm if you qualify for jackpots, tournament entries, or any other feature connected to your account details.

How In-Person Registration Works

Playground Poker Club & Casino is a physical venue, not an online casino, so account creation happens face to face on your first visit. Head to the Brush Desk inside the Poker Hall, where staff handle all new player registrations and manage waitlists. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID - the minimum age requirement is 18 and no exceptions are made. Staff enter your details into the system and assign a unique Player ID, which is your reference number for all services at the venue. Once registered, you can use that Player ID to join poker cash-game waitlists remotely by texting 514-616-5176 up to one hour before arrival. You can also add your name to a waitlist through the Poker Atlas app without being on-site. The venue operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with 65 poker tables, over 1,200 gaming machines, and a tournament calendar available on the official site.

What Is Available After You Register

Once your account is created, the entire poker operation opens up for you. Our poker room runs 24 hours a day, every day of the week, with 65 tables in action. Cash games run around the clock, mainly No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha, offered at different stake levels. The room stays active whether you arrive in the middle of the day or closer to sunrise.

Tournament access is a major part of what our registered players use. At Playground, we maintain a structured tournament schedule that includes larger series. Over the years, we have hosted WSOP Circuit events and WPT Montreal, which places our room among the most active live tournament destinations in Canada. You can always go to playground.ca, look through the calendar, and plan your tournament entries ahead of time.

If you want something beyond poker, there are more than 1,200 gaming machines available throughout the complex. We also have three restaurants on-site if you are planning to stay for a longer session. The property operates continuously, so your player profile remains available to use whenever you walk in.

Here is a quick recap of what becomes available once you are registered:

  1. All 65 poker tables with cash games running day and night
  2. Tournament registration through the Brush Desk and the on-site calendar
  3. Remote waitlist access using the Poker Atlas app or by text
  4. Eligibility for the Bad Beat Jackpot that starts at $100,000
  5. More than 1,200 gaming machines across the gaming floor
  6. Dining options at three restaurants located inside the complex
  7. Player-specific offers and promotions that are linked to your Player ID

Licensing and a Warning Worth Reading

Playground operates under a license issued by the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission, which is the gaming regulator for Mohawk Territory. This license covers both our poker room and the casino floor as a whole. The KGC framework sets the rules for how we run the venue, how complaints and disputes are managed, and what operational standards we have to meet.

There is one important point every player should keep in mind. Playground does not run any online gambling site. If you find a website, ad, or social profile claiming to offer an online version of Playground or an online account registration for us, that content is not legitimate. The only real Playground Poker Club & Casino create account process happens when you stand at the Brush Desk in Kahnawà:ke. For official information, use playground.ca and our verified social channels only.

Playground opened in 2010 and is located on sovereign Mohawk territory. That places us under KGC oversight instead of the Quebec provincial gaming regulators. This structure has allowed the venue to operate independently and grow our poker and casino offering steadily for more than a decade.

Before Your First Visit

It is worth taking a few minutes to prepare before you travel. Start by checking the tournament calendar on playground.ca. If your trip lines up with a major series, it may change how you arrange your time on site and how early you want to arrive. If your focus is on cash games, decide in advance what format and stake level you prefer, so that your remote waitlist request by text or through the app is straightforward.

Make sure you bring valid government-issued photo ID. Without it, our staff at the Brush Desk cannot complete your registration, and you will not have access to the poker tables or the gaming floor. The 18+ age rule is checked when you come in and is not something we adjust at the desk.

Once your profile is set up on that first visit, you do not need to repeat the create account process. Your Player ID remains stored in our system. The Brush Desk can find your profile with your name or your Player ID number, and remote waitlist tools are available to you for every future trip you plan to Playground.
